Kimberly Snipes
is a dedicated public servant and community leader who currently serves as the Community and Special Projects Director for the South Carolina Bar. A champion for education, she is the Chair of the Lexington-Richland District 5 School Board, where she provides strategic oversight for the district's 25 schools and over 17,000 students.
Kimberly’s extensive record of service includes leadership roles as Secretary for the Homeless No More board and At-Large Director for the Junior League. Her commitment to the Midlands has been widely recognized; she was named a "Woman of Influence" by the Columbia Business Report (2018) and featured among the "Best and Brightest 35 and Under" by Columbia Business Monthly (2019).
An alumna of Claflin University (B.A. in Mass Communications) and Columbia College (M.A. in Organizational Management and Leadership), Kimberly continues to hone her expertise as a 2026 graduate of Furman University’s Women’s Leadership Initiative.
She and her husband, Dominique, reside in Irmo with their four children: Noah, Isabella, Isaiah, and Sarah.
